Season Preview: Return two studs in the middle with UNC transfer Alex Stephenson and stud center Vucevic. They do return their tiny but effective point guard. Other than that.. Freshman.

Game Notes Kansas: I like this team… they have three very fast guards .. although pretty small.. a serviceable forward, and a three man 6’10 inch rotation.  They play solid defense and they have multiple scoring options. Add it up and this is a pretty good team! Honestly, I dont see a ton of weaknesses.

Isaiah Thomas writes a blog for ESPN: A big part of our scout of them focused on their big man, Nikola Vucevic. He can do a lot — hit midrange shots, 3s — he’s a tough cover. We did an OK job on him. He went 14-for-14 from the free throw line, so we definitely fouled him too much. He had a good game. His size is a factor, but it’s more his skill set that makes him so tough to guard. We had a 6-foot-9 guy on him and then a 7-footer. He just has a great skill set. He can put it on the ground against someone taller than him, or he can post up someone smaller. He’s one of the toughest covers in the league.
