St Peters over Iona

Their good defense definitely won out over Iona’s much discussed good offense.  20-13 record and 20-7 against the spread.  Not bad, but so many of these losses were against teams that suck, and the only win that even comes close to impressing me is Alabama and they may not make the dance…

This is another team that surprised themselves by getting in and has no plan for what to do now that they are in. 

If they win a play in game, they could come out without too many nerves and play some good D to be a GREAT UNDER bet.  If they dont do a playin, they will be nervous as hell.  they could still be a  good UNDER bet, depending on their matchup. 

As for point spread, I see them being booked as a possible 30 point underdog (again, if they dont do something in a playin to impress).  They will be quite outclassed by the elite of the tourney.  Again, they may play good D if the matchup is right, and be an under bet.  Then again, they may be the ghost of the Kent State v UNLV game from 2 years ago.
